Another Amazing beer from Stone Brewing. No need for a review, I feel like its minor tweaks on a great DIPA
Stone Brewing
Victory Saison de Buff
Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a respectable head that leaves a fair bit of lacing
Smell: Very herb like, with sage and rosemary with a bit of tart lemon
Taste: Starts with a lot of herbs and makes its way to a bready backbone with hints of lemon.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Very nicely done for a saison, need to try all three versions side by side.
Serving type: bottle
Stone La Citrueille Celeste De Citracado
A: Clear copperish brown, sudsy topping
S: Birch sap, lemon oil, gourds, caramel very. Very hippy smelling
T: Brown bread, birch, vague spice, lemon zest, earthy pumpkin, steely caramel, mild hopping, slightly roasty finish
O: Not the best idea for the collab in my opinion, the birch takes the lead though and leaves most of the yam behind. The pumpkin make its mark more towards the finish. Interesting use of spice. Nice but I would pass on it in the future.
Stone Black IPA
Packs a mean, only one was needed.
